    About Me

For a large part of my career, I worked hard to get to the top. Not just professionally, but internally. There was always a sense that I needed to prove something. If I did not feel smart enough, I would work harder.

Three years ago, after a diagnosis of ADHD and autism, that narrative shifted. What I had framed as limitation began to look like pattern recognition.

The need for structure. The discomfort with ambiguity. The instinct to simplify. The frustration when something did not logically make sense.

I moved from self doubt to structural confidence.

I describe myself as a fixer and a strategy thinker. I see structural problems quickly. I ask simple questions that others often avoid.

Questions such as: What does the business actually do? How exactly does it make money? Why does this product exist?

I have found that simple questions are often the hardest to answer. When they cannot be answered clearly, there is usually structural work to do.

    Muswell Rose

I run Muswell Rose, a consultancy working with mature businesses and founders across marketing, commercial strategy, technology and product development.

The objective is not to add layers. It is to remove unnecessary complexity.

Many businesses struggle not because of lack of effort, but because of accumulated over complication. Messaging becomes diluted. Positioning becomes abstract. Teams move fast without stepping back.

The work is about clarity, discipline and structural thinking.

    AI Search and Neurodivergent Thinking

I believe AI search may be one of the most significant shifts for the neurodiverse community.

Not because it was designed as an accessibility tool. It was not. But because it changes the interaction model.

Traditional search requires constant micro decisions. You scan links. You compare snippets. You open tabs. You hold fragments in working memory while deciding what to trust.

    AI search compresses that process.

    • It explains in structured language
    • It allows follow up questions
    • It can break down complexity into steps
    • It adapts format when asked

For many neurodivergent users, including myself, this reduction in fragmentation can feel calmer and more manageable.

However, AI must support judgement, not replace it.

AI systems speak confidently. Structured output can create the illusion of certainty. Summarisation can reduce depth. Over reliance can weaken independent thinking.

There is also frustration when outputs drift from the requested structure, when nuance is missed, or when predictability breaks. Predictability equals cognitive safety.
