Free Schema Generator

This free tool turns a short form into valid, copy-ready JSON-LD structured data for the three entity types AI search engines and Google care about most: Organization, LocalBusiness and Person. Everything runs in your browser, the result appears instantly, and there is no signup or email gate.

Schema markup is one of the Five Signals we audit. It tells ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Copilot and Google exactly what your business is, in a format machines parse without guessing. Fill in what you know, leave the rest blank, and the generator omits empty fields so the output is always clean.

1. Choose a schema type

Organization for a company, LocalBusiness for a company customers visit or that serves a local area, Person for a founder, author or expert.

2. Fill in the details

Address (LocalBusiness)

Only real, verifiable profiles. Made-up profile URLs weaken entity resolution rather than strengthening it.

3. Copy your JSON-LD

Fill in a name and website URL to generate your schema.

Paste the <script type="application/ld+json"> block into the <head> of your homepage (or the page that represents the entity), then test it with Google's Rich Results Test or the Schema.org validator.

How this generator decides what to output

The rules are published here so the output is never a black box:

Valid by construction: the JSON is built with the browser's own serialiser, so quotes, ampersands and special characters in your inputs are always correctly escaped.

Empty means omitted: any field you leave blank is left out of the output entirely. No empty strings, no placeholder values, nothing invented.

Required minimum: name plus URL. Those two are the smallest useful entity statement; everything else is optional enrichment.

URL sanity checks: the website, logo and sameAs fields are checked for a valid http or https URL and flagged (not silently dropped) if they fail.

Schema.org vocabulary only: output uses the published Organization, LocalBusiness and Person types and properties, nothing proprietary.

Nothing leaves your browser: there is no backend call. Your business details are never sent to us or anyone else.

A caveat on schema markup
“Schema is one signal of five, not a magic switch. Valid Organization markup makes it easier for AI engines to understand and trust who you are, but it will not by itself get you cited or recommended. If your schema, title and homepage copy describe three different things, fix that mismatch first.”

Common questions

Organization or LocalBusiness, which one should I use?

Use LocalBusiness if customers visit your premises or you serve a defined local area (it includes an address and opening hours). Use Organization if you trade nationally or online with no meaningful storefront. LocalBusiness is a subtype of Organization, so you never need both on the same page.

Where do I paste the JSON-LD?

In the <head> of the page that represents the entity: the homepage for your Organization or LocalBusiness, and the team or author profile page for a Person. Most CMSs (WordPress, Shopify, Squarespace, Wix) have a header-injection or custom-code setting that takes it directly.

Will schema alone get me recommended in ChatGPT?

No, and anyone who says otherwise is selling. Schema removes ambiguity about who you are, which supports the other signals (crawler access, entity clarity, llms.txt, trust pages). Our free audit tests all five together across six AI platforms.

Is the output really valid?

Yes: it is serialised JSON, so it cannot contain syntax errors, and it only uses published schema.org properties. Verify it yourself in the Schema.org validator, which is exactly what we would run on it.
