We checked 30 UK small business websites for Organisation schema - the structured data that tells machines what a business is called, what it does, and where it exists online. Nearly half had none.
TL;DR
- 11 out of 25 accessible UK SME websites (44%) had no Organisation schema
- Law firms were the worst: 0% had any structured data at all
- Estate agents were second worst at 25%
- Accountancy firms had the strongest adoption at 78%
What is Organisation schema?
Organisation schema is structured data markup that provides machine-readable information about a business entity. Without it, AI systems must infer what a business is from unstructured signals.
